How do you get your audience to quickly immerse themselves in a painting and keep their attention there for as long as possible?
This is a question artists have asked themselves for hundreds of years, but it's never been more relevant. With the advent of the internet and social media, art is consumed far more quickly then ever.
Sometimes all you have is a fraction of a second to grab your viewer's attention and pull them into your painting.
This can be achieved through a compositional principle called flow.
So I decided to take all that knowledge and condense it into a short video on the key strategies I use to incorporate flow into my paintings.
So take a minute to check the video out, and be sure to subscribe to the channel so you don't miss new videos I release every Wednesday, as well as my weekly live streams every Sunday.
I hope you're all well and safe out there :)
All the best,
